What is the schedule?
At AquaSteps Therapy, we operate from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., offering two 50-minute sessions per child each day. The first session is in the water, followed by a break, and then a physiotherapy session on land.
Where and When are the next intensive weeks going to take place?
The new countries and cities where the upcoming intensive therapy weeks will take place will be announced soon. To stay up to date and not miss anything, follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and our website. Don’t miss out—follow us!
Can we schedule an intensive therapy week in our city?
Of course! We are open to exploring new locations, but certain requirements must be met, including a minimum number of patients, and having a facility that allows us to carry out the program, with a pool and a private therapy room. For any suggestions or inquiries, please contact us by email: proposals@aquastepstherapy.comso we can discuss and potentially arrange an intensive therapy week in a specific location.
What Languages does the therapist speak?
Some of our therapists speak German, English, and Spanish, while others speak Spanish and English and have basic knowledge of German and French, allowing them to communicate with children and give simple instructions.
When will I receive my schedule?
The schedule and all relevant information for the treatment week will be sent two weeks before the program begins. In addition, the team will communicate with families beforehand to collect personal information, allowing us to plan a more personalized treatment.
Is the intensity suitable for my child? Will it be too much?
Our programs are carefully designed based on years of experience, with the perfect session length to ensure your child works intensively while still having fun—therapy is never a burden. Each day includes 50 minutes in the pool and 50 minutes on land, five days a week. This schedule is perfectly designed to achieve each child’s personalized goals while making sure therapy is enjoyable and never a struggle.
What do we need to bring?
The only things you need to bring are swimming goggles, a swimsuit, a towel, and comfortable clothing for the physiotherapy sessions, as well as any orthotic supports your child uses, such as AFOs, DAFOs, or knee-ankle-foot braces.
